
ABOUT
Filmmaker + Author Stephanie A. West (formerly Steph Greegor) is an award-winning writer and festival-accepted director and producer with a focus on female empowerment, higher rates of female representation in film and fiction, and stories that feature strong, female roles.
West’s career has seen her lead award-winning teams who have created video and content campaigns for brands including Nationwide Insurance and its partnerships with NASCAR, Magic Johnson, and the Dallas Cowboys, as well as Lane Bryant, Target, Clorox, Piada, IJM, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Complion, among others.
She has a deep knowledge of running and communicating the three points of a project management triangle to teams spanning UX, design, websites, magazines, print assets, marketing assets, video, photography, live event and trade show assets. She’s worked the entire span of a project from strategy and customer journey discussions all the way through to QA, delivery, and feedback for continuous improvement.
West has won multiple Society of Professional Journalists and AP awards, including seven Ohio SPJ awards in 2021 for the creative team she led as Vice President of Content at 614 Media Group. She’s also an Emmy-nominated film producer and director with two Silver Telly Award credits for her work leading the video portion of a veteran’s project with the Columbus College of Art + Design. She’s an alum of the Sundance Institute Collab and New York Film Academy producer courses and put herself through school, earning an MFA in Creative Writing in May of 2020.
Her debut nonfiction work titled On Fire is now available for purchase on Amazon, with her follow-up novel and second nonfiction book already in the works. She also writes, directs and produces indie films through her production company, Eleven One Productions.
She’s based in the Midwest and works with professionals regionally and in New York City and L.A.
